Oh so cute felt rose wreath

I can honestly say that I am one of the least crafty, handy, artsy, etc. girls you have ever met. I mean, I get excited when I write my name well! So this is a huge accomplishment! This wreath is so easy, a little time consuming, but fun to make. I found it off of: http://calebdanielle.blogspot.com/2010/10/diy-yarn-wreath-with-felt-flowers.html. It took about a weekend to make and it is super cute when you are finished! I am always drawn to yellow and blue together, love those siggie colors!

Just started the yarn part and in a couple of hours later.. voila..all covered!
Add a couple of felt flowers and you are finished.

Blessings,
K

Susan G. Komen: Marathon for the Cure

Sadly, it has touched touched everyone. Cancer has found its way into every household causing pain and sadness. I have personally felt this grief when I lost a grandfather four years ago to colon cancer. John lost his sweet aunt several years ago as well. I have decided to become involved in the fight against cancer by running in the Race for the Cure marathon on March 27. Susan G. Komen has pledged to invest another $2 billion in scientific research and community health programs over the next decade, and bring breast health awareness to communities around the world. I have pledged to raise $300 to go toward that goal. I am humbly asking you to help support me in my training and race either monetarily or in prayer. Pray that this money will bless the resistance against cancer. Donations can be made out to: Susan G. Komen Marathon for the Cure and mailed to me. You will then receive a tax receipt in the mail.

I am so thankful to be able to participate in this event and I am so thankful that we have a loving Father who is bigger than any illness or hardship that comes in this lifetime. I know that my grandfather is in such a better place and that I will see him again. Thank you for your support and blessings to you.
